“Hey, hey~ Ju-kun. What are you doing~?”

After school, at the Literature Club’s clubroom Hatoko called out to me casually like she always does.

As always, everyone was present today. Sayumi-senpai was reading a difficult-looking book she managed to excavate from [God of] <TN Also read as Second Hand Bookstore, but ando is mixing up japanese and english words apparently>, and Chifuyu was just sitting there hugging her plushie.

Tomoyo, as usual, was doing something on her laptop.

Nothing seems to have changed since her meeting with Kiryu-san. She was acting like her usual self as if nothing had happened at all. Maybe she’s processing the incident with her brother inside her mind.

Competition, money saving and consumers. Case of Crunchyroll

This is rough piece of writing I though I would write quickly. Don’t be too mindful about it (not that people will care)

Competition, it’s something that humans always like. We always want to show off and prove that we’re better than other person, people or a group. It’s also encouraged innovation between companies. Competition is there so that consumers get a choice. Oh you don’t like this brand of tea? Go get another company’s tea. Oh you don’t like this phone from Samsung, apple, htc or sony? Don’t worry; there are hundreds of companies who want your money.

About Inou-Battle and story progression.

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS
I saw on jcafe that someone commented saying it would be faster if the translation began where the anime has left off.

Now that’s a great idea. But there’s a problem with doing something like that and that problem prevents me from translating from where the anime has left off. The anime progression is completely different to light novel progression so far and sometimes outright omits part of the story (from top of my memory).

For example. Current chapter I’m translating right now follows a skit where Ando wants to draw a picture of Black Dragon on his arm, with different members following his little gag. This has never happened in anime, however this is a story which has happened quite early on in the light novel.

Second example second chapter of Vol 1 where Ando figures out that Tomoyo is (or was) Chuunibyou. This should be the part where Ando also learns that she is considering writing a light novel herself, but in the source material this has not happened yet. Moreover the following scene in the light novel shows Literature Club creating their own Alias which in anime, happened before Ando learns the truth about Tomoyo.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, that as much as I want to just continue where the anime has left off, there’s no way of knowing how many stories have been jumbled up across several volumes. Not only that we don’t truly know how many stories we will be missing out if I decide to translate from where anime has left off. Only way of making sure this doesn’t happen is by translating it from volume 1, work its way up until we catch upto latest release.

Hope you guys understand.

Daniel.

Chapter 3

There’s a nationwide franchised Family Restaurant in walking distance from our school.

Not even three minutes have passed since meeting with Kiryuu-san and we are already in sync with each other, I wonder if we were husband and wife in the past life. We soon reached a conclusion that we should move somewhere and talk more slowly and thus we headed towards the Family Restaurant.

Restaurant is full of various customers. Everyone from students to families were there , me and Kiryuu-san decided to seat towards the inner part of the restaurant at smoking area and called the waitress to take our order.

I ordered Black coffee for me.

…… To be honest I have no idea why people drink such a thing, but since I’m a man it has to be black. Because it’s cool that way.

Good Bye, Fall 2016

Warning, this article hasn’t been edited by anyone, so things may not make sense at times.

Well what a crazy year has it been? It was a year of elections that threw not only one, but two countries off their expectations, year of many old celebrity deaths and most importantly, the year where Nekopara kickstarter have managed to fulfil their goal within an hour of them starting. Well if we know one thing about internet, it’s that we do love cats.

Well it’s not like any of those matters to me right…? (Angrily looks at Brexiters god damn it) what really matters is anime that I’ve watched this season. and I have to say compared to last season there have been very interesting shows that has been airing which I have (surprise surprise) not watched. Really I need to catch up on Re:Zero and Mob Psycho! Damn it’s hard finding time to watch these. Well with that said, here are list of anime I’ve watched this past season. just go easy on me please L

Hey.

My name is Guiltia Sin Jurai.

In this world I go by the name of Ando Jurai.

I’m just a typical High school Student…well this is my disguise; I’m actually a person with special powers.

The forbidden power within me, <Dark and Dark>, is a power that can destroy the God itself. It’s obvious at this point but even my powers are considered a sin. I am that kind of being.

Ahh~ I have sinned a lot today.

After school, I joyfully headed towards the club room.

You may ask me why. The answer is simple. Just now during the class, I thought of a cool sounding enchantment for my power. An Enchantment that covers the criticism by Tomoyo for having [too much word chaos], has just been finished.

PEA and what they are doing to CS GO Pro Scene.

Sorry about this rant. Inou Battle translation will come out either later today or tomorrow!

I don’t normally talk about things beside from anime in this blog of mine, let’s be honest, people aren’t normally interested in anime posts anyway. But there are times where something happens that makes me want to either vent my frustration out or just want people to listen to what I’ve got to say just like my last non-anime post.

There aren’t many things I’m passionate about in this world, and of few things I do truly care one of them is CS GO (Counter Strike: Global Offensive), a tactical FPS game created by Valve. I wasn’t much of a gamer but this one game has caught my attention long enough for me to be absorbed into it. And after about 6 months of playing the game I found out about a Pro Scene behind this very game. And it was beautiful.

Good Bye summer 2016

Three months… it sounds like it’s very long time but when you actually live through it you feel like there isn’t just enough time in the world to do everything you want, especially when that thing you want to do is watching anime and indulge yourself in otaku lifestyle. Even though university left me with near 4 months of holiday I ended up being too busy with various events during summer to properly indulge myself in anime, but at the same time I also think this season was one of the most lukewarm season in a long time for me so I guess I didn’t miss much at all. There were many shows that made me curious such as Mob Psycho 100, but for some reason and another I wasn’t able to get to that show. I mean, I still need to watch Re:Zero that I promised to marathon when It finish, then again it could be that I’m mostly interested in Slice of Life shows nowadays. Oh well, let’s see what happens. On the subject of anime and such, it seems like two of the most prominent Shounen Jump manga Bleach and Nisekoi has finally ended… Wow I thought I would never say that in my life time, yes Bleach has ENDED! What gives? Now we just wait for One piece to finish… in probably 40 years’ time with Fairy Tail ending just before then. Oh course I’m exaggerating a bit but it was real shocker that now only 1 out of the Big Three remains; and now we wait patiently for even that to finish.

Regarding the future of this blog and translation work.

Hey there, it’s daniel.

As of writing this blog post i have finally finished translating DX2 and have uploaded them to Baka Tsuki. Man now that i finished them i feel better.

Now, before people ask me. Yes, for now I am thinking of translating DX3 when it comes out. But do have this in mind. I am now in my final year of University and thus i will be busier than ever, not only that the timing of DX3 release in Korean will most likely be near my exam period. So please don’t expect DX3 translation to be started anytime soon.

As for this blog until DX3 translation starts. I am still thinking of writing my seasonal anime list at the end of each season (not that anybody actually reads it) and i am currently finalising summer season list. And as for doing translation on different series… I am currently working on another series right now, but i don’t know if it’s viable for me to continue with the translation. At this point in time i am actively translating this said series but i won’t give name of this series until I am 100% sure that I can commit to it and finish at least one volume of it. I will give out more information once I’m ready.
