Korean translation update and bit of news…..

been awhile guys.

it looks like that i’m busier then i anticipated with my real life commitment.

which was one of the reason why i decided to change my video schedule. but now, i think i need to cut back on Translation for Vacation for Two of us Korean translation.

i have translated 17 pages out of 27 english pages. and seeing that last few pages are round table discussion. i’m debating whether i should translate those pages or not.

now for some news.

now regarding Eden of Xeno

it look like their website is back online. if you want to buy their products, i suggest you do it now before the website goes down again. 

regarding english translation for Sono Hanabira Light Novels. it looks like EOX is nolonger translating them. i had talked to Nakiyoshi Tomino using email regarding the subject and has confirmed to me that EOX is now only translating Bonus Sotries that comes out in Comiket.

 

Sono Hanabira video upload Schedule

Hi guys.

If you follow me on twitter or watch my videos on youtube frequently, you will know that currently I upload videos daily.

Now that new term has started, I don’t have as much free time as before. Bad thing about the youtube is that in order not to get flagged, I have to censor the videos, and if you didn’t know, it is very time consuming task.

If you didn’t realize what this post is about, I’ll get to the point. I don’t have enough time.

Youtube censoring takes time, and uploading videos daily isn’t helping me at all. But I still want to upload video as much as possible, so here’s what I’m proposing.

For current series I’m on (My Dear Prince) I will upload them daily since it’s near the end. After that, I will take a week off from uploading the videos, and finally, for the third series, I will upload the videos at least once a week to at most twice a week so you guys still have timely uploads.

For the uploading days, it won’t be set. I’m sorry but with my current schedule, I cannot promise set-date update. However, what I’m promising is one or maybe two videos per week.

another reason for this is because i want to give the translators some time. if you guys didn’t know, 8 Sono Hanabira series has been translated and i believe 9th won’t be too long till translated patch comes out. 10th is also nearly translated. however, 11th (Maidens of Michael) is longest game so far and will take more then average time to translate that, not only that, Yurin Yurin has released about 3 more games after Maidens of Michael, one of them being full game like Maidens of Michael. translations for these games won’t come out within 2 years is my guessing.

with my current schedule for average game taking about 20 to 24 videos to finish, i will go through translated games within 6 month or so. and after that, i cannot do much as translated patches hasn’t come out. this will be huge inconvinced to you guys. having indefinite hiatus.

now, because new term has started, i do not have enough free time to dedicate my entire free time into this translation project. which means that the translation will take significantly longer then last time.

Well, this is bit late. But I got more then 10000 views on YouTube:)
Well, if you count my daily motion account which got deactivated, it’s more then 20000 views but oh well.
Anyway, thank you guys for watching my video, I originally uploaded them to YouTube and dailymotion for my personal use and never thought anyone would be interested in watching my videos. But it turns out you guys do 🙂
Hopefully with my videos, i got some people interested in these genres, my hope is that someone out there will find my stuff useful to them, whether that’s my videos or my translated light novel.
Anyway, thanks for watching 🙂
I finished recording final scene for second series and will start the third series very soon. Also I will be starting next Korean light novel translation project soon. But since new term has started, its going to be hard to finish it as quickly as before.
And BTW, I might try to translate visual novels and even write fanfics as well. But these are not gurenteed.

well, new term has started so translation on another Light Novels has been halted for time being.

however, i am intending to continue my work and if i learn how to, i might even attempt translating Visual Novels as well. but lets see how it goes.

according to Yuri project, Sono Hanabira 8 Sweet Grownup Kisses has been fully translated and TLCd into english, and Sono Hanabira 9 Lily Platinum has 13 chapters translated into english.
