FUNimation X Crunchyroll best ship ever?!

 

THIS IS MY OPINION AND MY OPINION ONLY!

 

If you guys haven’t heard already, massive news has come out on 8th September. FUNimation and Crunchyroll, two major anime streaming services have now gone into partnership where they will help and share their licenses with each other to bring more content to anime fans in west.

Crunchyroll is one of the biggest, if not the biggest legal anime streaming site there is, with countless amount of shows available to watch in Sub depending on the region, whereas FUNimation is known for their excellence in Dub releases and home video releases. This partnership allows both companies to use their expertise and their strength to bring best possible experience for us anime watchers without making us worry about whether Crunchyroll or FUNimation will get the streaming rights. Let’s be honest, subscribing to two streaming site for anime is not cheap but previously without resorting to illegal means we weren’t able to watch some shows if you only subscribed to one service. Now with this partnership there will be one less headache for anime fans… that’s the hope anyway.

Lately we Gremory peers have been busy like crazy. Not only do we have to focus on our school as well as our job as a Devil, we also needed to fight terrorists. In addition to this, we can’t skip out training in case of an emergency and so that we can respond when required in short notice. The truth is that things such as these are not something High Schoolers should be doing.

Good Bye, Spring 2016

 

I’m not particularity proud of this article, and I wasn’t originally going to release it, but longer I didn’t publish it, more it bothered me. I’m sorry about that but i had to release it for my own sake.

Oh my, is this that time of the year already? I just can’t believe that half of year has already passed, let alone that I have (hopefully) finished my second year of University. This is crazy.

With me hopefully going up to 3rd year of study at University, new chapter of Spice and Wolf sequel to look forward to, waiting for steam summer sale to totally ruin my wallet with games that I will never get to play, and DX2 for me and Alexis to translate, this summer seems to be good one and I can’t wait for it to start. But before that, as usual, I’ve got some list of anime that I’ve watched over the course of spring, in hopes that if nothing less, anime + booze will keep me from going insane with all the troubles of exam.

I’ve been having these thoughts quite a bit lately.

If someone who is not a member of the ORC comes to visit the club room, it usually is the beginning of some annoying shenanigans that we unwillingly participate in.

One day, the person who came and visited the club room was from the Khou academy primary school division… A primary school boy…

He was a lively boy, wearing Khou academy’s uniform short. He had spiky hair and there was a sense of arrogance in his eyes. Judging from his height, he seems to be around Year 5-6.

Although he seems to be a bit nervous, he gave his greetings enthusiastically.

“N-Nice to meet you! I’m Hoderi Yuukihiko! I’m Khou academy’s Year 6! I’ve come here with an introduction from Sitri Sona-san. Pleased to meet you!”

Meanwhile, Buchou and Akeno-san, who attended the club meeting hosted by the Student Council, came back while chatting to themselves.

Putting down the documents that were used at the meeting on the table, Buchou turned her attention toward us.

“Everyone, I’m so sorry to ask of you since the culture festival is so near but, I would like you guys to help with the club activity report.”

Club activity report? That is….

“…Are you talking about the report which you have to send back to the Underworld as a condition for Buchou to live in human world?” Koneko raised her hand and asked.

Well well well, looks like it’s that time of the year again. Spring is nearly upon us, while the weather in England refuses to let us have nice warm sunny day. It’s been busy months, exam after exam after exam, and then I have finally finished translating DxD DX! Well, that was a fun ride.

But this isn’t a post about that! I already made a post about translation months ago! and as usual, I will be listing anime that I’ve been (barely) keeping up with this season where many shows I watched because I was bored, and unlike last time, I have decided to add anime that I’ve watched this season that is not airing, so some of you can laugh at me for not watching them sooner, oh well…. (And before anyone ask, yes I haven’t watched KonoSuba, and it’s high on my list to watch. So knock it off.)

Afterword

To those who picked up Highschool DxD series with this [DX] volume, I am pleased to meet you. To those who have read the main volumes, it has been awhile, Ichiei Ishibumi here.

We have finally made new side volumes of the Highschool DxD franchise, DX volumes. The main focus of the DX volumes is short stories that have been published in the Dragon Magazines previously. Furthermore, for the newly written stories (for the DX series), I am planning to bring up “dream matches” and “dream-like moments” which can’t be done in the main series

So then, I shall introduce each story with the related timeline to the main story.

Life DX. Phoenix of the Battle School Building DX?

 

This happened one day after school.

Rias and Ravel showed up at the ORC club room talking to each other while playing chess. They were concentrating on playing chess a moment ago but it seems like they are having more fun talking to each other now. Sometimes they would be laughing while other time, being serious.

“…If Xenovia-sama or Rossweisse-sensei were there at that time, maybe at the pool side….”

Ravel said in an excited voice and….

“That sounds fun but if it was up to me, I would have made Gasper…”

Rias thought while she placed her piece with a smile on her face.

It seems like instead of actually playing chess against Ravel, she is only using the chess pieces as tool to explain her thoughts. Maybe because of this, all chess pieces roam freely around the board rather than just following their designated moves.
